How to straighten bent plastic vertical blinds?

A neighbour suggested I clean my vertical blinds by leaving them overnight in the bathtub. I did. They are so clean ...but bent out of shape. Any suggestions on how I can straighten them out? I'm looking for the least expensive option if I must replace them. I'm on a fixed retirement income. They are 72" wide and If I cannot straighten them, I am considering two 36" horizontal blinds. Thanks for any comment/suggestions you have.
