how to clean material vertical blinds?

I have 2 sets of vertical cream material blinds and want to know if any one out there knows how I can clean them.

1. Firstly take them down take the weights in the bottom out, put the material in a pillow case, tightly as you can tie this shut, wash as normal, not to hot. You will likely need to iron then when dry

3. there are thousand questins to answer first. But first can you water them down, are they stained, the type of fabric.
4. Clean them with Dryelle!
5. I would use a dust buster or a vacuum with a small attachment.
6. I had some fitted recently and was told to wash them in washing machine (in a pillow case as someone said previously) at 40 degree C.
7. When i bought mine i was told to roll them up individually and put an elastic band round and hand wash them .Do a few at a time to see how they go ??
8. check first if they are washable i had vertical blinds in my old house and i washed them ok, they were cream and the person who left me them im th ehouse was a smoker so they were really badly stained if you fold them very gently in half or in 4 if they are fill length you can wash them with a non bio liquid in the bath another idea is to fold them as before and put them into a pillow case and put them in the washing machine - they get slighty more creased that way tho rinse then hang to drip dry i hung mine back up while still damp to help stop creasing hope this helps!
9. take them down, fill the tub with hot water and woolite and start washing them one vein at a time. it may be time consuming but since they are not mini blinds you can't take them down and wash them in one shot. pat them dry with towel as best as you can then lay flat to dry and put back up. good luck
10. i have ten in house,and i wash them in the bath,put half a bath of water,and one soap tablet, and put blinds in and gently dip in and out,of water, then empty out hte water, and refill (leave blinds in bath) to rinse and then let water out, lay blinds flat, until excess,water water runs out and they are ready to hang up,(remove weights and beading).and hey presto they are done.
11. Vertical blinds are for offices, why do you have them in your house?
