How do I remove mould from fabric vertical blinds?

The vertical blinds have been up for ages and have acquired general household mould along the bottom..... anyone got any good tips for the best way to get rid of it? Thanks in advance :-)

1. Wash em - best way is actually in a dishwasher on a cool wash. Roll them up individually and roll into the machine, Washing machine bashes them around a great deal more.
2. just unclip them and put them in hot soapy water in your bath My neighbour actually puts them in the washing machine, but I've never tried that
3. If it's true mold and you cannot toss them them, it'll be tough to get them back to a healthy sanitary condition without using a special product. Get some Jomax from your local hardware store, follow directions to mix with bleach and treat those blinds either by submersion or spray. But you should know that regular warm soapy water does NOT kill mold spores.
