  1. Nail Polish Remover =)
  2. hair spray , rubbing alcohol
  3. Things You’ll Need: Patience Mr. Clean magic eraser regular pencil eraser Step1 Purchase a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser, ( only a few dollars for several) or walmart makes an off brand version. Step2 Wet the sponge, wring out the excess water and wipe marker off all surfaces! It gets almost everything! Step3 The magic eraser should work and remove the stain, but if you can still see any trace of the stain, after it dries, take a regular rubber pencil eraser and go over the stain! That should take care of it and know one will ever even know it was there! :) Good luck! I know i was relieved!! ______________ Make sure their are absolutly no markers where you are not aware of! (lol) If you do think your child has swallowed ink, call your doctor or poison control center.
  4. if it's a permanent one, you don't...you can try some bleach..but bleach isn't good for plastic and will eat it. They also won't bleach all the way out, they'll turn gray and thats about it..
  5. I'm not sure if it would work, but those magic erasers work wonders on many stains.
  6. Mr.Clean Magic Eraser it really is magical
  7. What material are the blinds? A cloth like, a wood, what are they? If cloth, carpet cleaner. If wood, nail polish remover. Plastic blinds, definitely use nail polish remover. 100% sure. A paint defect was on a plastic Stratego piece so I used NPR and it fixed it, so why not this? It didn't discolor the plastic either.
  8. i was gonna say hair spray, but i think thats for crayon.. for marker prolly nail polish remover or could try on of those magic eraser things. My mum used tooth paste once when we were little, dunno if it has to be a certain kind or anything tho. or if all else fails.. you could always buy some more sharpies and spend a day coloring the rest of them black to match.. :)
  9. What works in my Kindergarten classroom is dry erase board cleaner spray. :)
  10. I know this sounds weird, but use a white board marker over the top of the sharpie, then erase. If that doesn't work, try rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover WITH acetone or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. You could also try regular toothpaste (not gel). Good luck!
  11. I have yet to find something that will get permanent marker out of plastic, it always leaves a stain but I haven't tried this magic erase either. When I hear vertical blinds I think the individual hanging pieces of plastic top to bottom. On my vertical blinds you can replace the individual pieces, it's very easy. Even if they're strung together you can unthread the chain and rethread it. I would think that you could get pieces at you local Lowe's or Home Depot or from the manufacturer. I suggest that you replace those pieces and take away his sharpie. ;)
