How can i get my vertical blinds to close properly ?

On a 5 inch vertical blind what size should the chain be ? The chains on mine are 13 notches long and every time i close them they catch on each other not closing properly and the chains catch on the bottom edges of the next blind . Infuriating . Sure i haven,t had this problem in the past .

1. Venetian Blinds are notorious for sucking. I have some too and they're awful.
2. Try Getting The Balls On The Chain To Be The Smallest Possible. Depending on the minimum size that the blinds will still move with of course. make sure the length of the chain is the same length though.
3. Perhaps the blind is mounted too far inside the window and is not hanging properly. Perhaps the middle of the window is 'bulging' out the blind and causing your chain to rub.
