Does anyone know how to fix vertical blinds?

My Mother just moved into a condo she has previously been renting, but the vertical blinds over her sliding glass door is out of alignment, that is to say each of the separate blinds aren't facing in the same angle or direction, making it impossible to close them fully so they shut the light out. Does anyone know how to fix this?

1. Check at the very top of each slat. There should be a hook or hanger where they are attached. Take them all off and reattach them all in the same direction, so they work together.
2. we have them here and i realign them with the blinds closed across open the slats so they are straight ,now grab hold of that little plastic clip at the top and turn to match the majority its hard and you will hear clicks your jumping the gear teeth get them all lined up then close and open to see if they all work together . if 1 or 2 is not quit there just repeat the process on them and listen for one more click. those blinds are nice but need to be open before they are pulled over to one side. most people try pulling before opening and that jambs them up and knocks them out of alignment.gl don't wear your finger tips out .
