How much fabric can you cut off a roller blind?

I need a roller blind 102 cm wide. The nearest I can find is 120. Can I cut off this much fabric?

1. Yes - you can cut it half if you want to as the 'bearings' only push into the last couple of cm of the roller tube
2. You can, but why. Pull out as much of the blind as you need.
