My bedroom door has a window in it. Suggestions for covering it?
Long story short, I'm poor and my bedroom door has a window in it. How can I cover it without spending any money?

- If you have material to cover it you could make a drape of sorts. If you have a few dollars to spare, you can get the spray that makes glass "frost". It's available in most craft stores and doesn't cost much at all. It will make it impossible to see through, giving you the privacy that you need.
- You may use a tree branch as a rod to cross over the top of the window... and when your taste is more punk chic, paint the branch black, hot pink or for vintage paint it silver. Then take a clean sheet and tie it to the branch using ribbon, or just use the sheet ends with big crisp evenly sized knots. It will be pretty!
- wet the window, press newspaper onto it that you've trimmed to size.... make it the sunday funnies.... then spray again on this side of the paper.... let dry....to remove, spray it again and scrape off.... if you need more 'darkening', use cardboard like from a cereal box and duct tape.... put a peephole in so you can see out.....use the duct tape by rolling a short piece inside out and stick it to the glass, not the painted door...do it nicely so it looks okay from the other side, too.....
