Window Covering

is it the landlords responsibility to have window covering?

I live in San Mateo county and i have been asking the landlord for window coverings since i moved in as far as i know it has always been the responsibility of the landlord.

1. What does your lease say? If it's not in there, it's not his responsibility to buy your curtains. Be happy, some landlords make you keep the ugly old blinds or coverings they have in there and you have no freedom to pick what you want.
2. If its not stipulated in the lease, the answer would be no. It would be the renters responsibility.
