then the part that rolls up n down should that be this side of the window or nearest the Window??? PART 2 Makes me look even more stoopid...

1. Honey - the roll should roll away from the window - as if you could drag it across the room!! You STILL doing the decorating thing????
2. I say it should be towards the window

Rolls down towards the glass. getting it nearer the window to cut down side light. though I suppose its down to whether you want the pattern showing outside the house or inside. most of the materials they use have a better side. If its spring loaded roll the blind down, hold it until it catches, then lift out of the bracket and roll up. this will put enough tension on the spring. if its chain operated just decide which side you want to operate it from.
